The Forty Club will keep the personal information that you supplied when you joined the Club on its database and also on the Golfing Society database. This information will be used to contact you and in order for the Club and the Golfing Society to operate effectively.
We will presume that you are willing for the Club and the Golfing Society to keep your personal information on a secure database unless the Club hears from you to the contrary. You may ask to see this personal data or ask for it to be changed or removed at any time, by contacting either the General Secretary of the Forty Club or the Secretary of the Golfing Society.
Your personal details will not be made available to anyone else unless requested by you.
The personal information of the Golfing Society Officers, committee members, match managers and members is made available to the Society membership and third parties via the Golfing Society fixtures book, via the Forty Club website, and to a limited extent via the annual Forty Club Yearbook.
Any subscribed member who is not willing for his or her personal information to be retained or shared in this manner is at liberty to ‘opt out’ and to request in writing to the Honorary Secretary of the Golfing Society that their personal information is not published in these media.
