Cumbria Colts v NW

Thu 22nd June 2017 at 14.00
Cumbria under 17 Colts won this 45 over fixture by 4 wickets
Played at Keswick CC, Fitz Park, Keswick, CA12 4EJ

Match Report

The XL elected to bat first and after a slow start good contributions from the middle order enabled the Club to post a competitive score in their 45 overs.

In reply the hosts built on a solid start and after losing a couple of wickets, an excellent partnership between Will Atkinson and Tom Manihera took the game away from the Club, and although the stand was broken eventually a late flurry from Ben Thompson saw the Colts home with overs to spare.

An enjoyable game played in excellent spirit, well hosted by the Cumbria Colts under the guidance of their enthusiastic coach.
