The XL North West’s 40 over match against Giggleswick School may have set new XL records. Batting first, a Keegan Peterson century * and a J Foggitt 93 helped XL to post a score of 309 for 2. After the interval, the school came out with a very good opening stand of 87. Wickets started to fall until Scott came to the crease and he together with his skipper and opening bat Milton smashed the ball to all parts. The school looked for a while as though they may well chase the score down but Scott was run out by Peterson for a lovely half century. The outstanding innings was from school skipper Milton who scored a magnificent 138 and while he was at the crease the school had a chance. He was out stumped in the 38th mexican adderall. over by Peterson off Deakin and that ended the schools fight. They finished 293 all out in the last over.
What a wonderful game of cricket and massive congratulations to the skipper and his school team for such a brilliant contest.
