Arrangements are now well underway for this year’s Tournament which will take place at Neston Cricket Club, Station Road, Parkgate, Neston CH64 6QJ between Sun 21st and Fri 26th July.

The programme of Tournament games will be as follows :
Mon 22nd July : 11:00am and 11:30am : 2 x 45 over matches
Tue 23rd July : 11:00am and 11:30am : 2 x 45 over matches
Wed 24th July : 10:00am : 2 x 20 over matches &  14:00pm :  2 x 20 over matches
Thurs 25th July : 11:00am and 11:30am : 2 x 45 over matches
Fri 26th July : 10:00am : 2 x 20 over matches

The Bad Boys pre-tournament game will take place on Sun 21st Jul at the King’s School, Chester. It will be a 35 over game starting at 1.00pm, with tea between the innings.

The Reception Evening for the Tournament will take place at Neston CC at 7.00pm on Sun 22nd Jul: there will be a Supper Party, also at Neston CC, on Mon 23rd Jul: the Ladies Day will be Wed 24th Jul with a day trip to and tours of Chester: and the tournament dinner will be held at Thornton Hall Hotel on Thurs 25th Jul

The cost of a twin/double bedroom on a B&B basis is £95 per night. Single occupancy on a b&b basis is £75 per night. These rates also include full use of the hotel’s award winning spa facilities.

Neil Canham has been tasked to gather a squad of players, umpires and scorers to represent the Forty Club and your mission, should you choose to accept it is to join us and win back the trophy from Spain ! As usual the XL Quadrangular Tournament team will all be skippered by Ian Robinson and the T20 games will be captained by a nominated player. Team selection for all matches will be undertaken by Ian Robinson (Capt), Stuart Faulkner (V/Capt) and Neil.
